Muzamil Ahmad
President

Muzamil is a member of the Microsoft of Collegiate Hires MBA program. He works in sales and manages the productivity business for his enterprise clients in Dallas, TX. He graduated from the SMU Cox Business School, class of 2012, focusing on Strategy and Management, where he worked in business development for an energy start-up and then joined McGrath Rentelco working directly with the C-suite as a Corporate Strategy consultant.


Muzamil completed his undergrad from Texas A&M '06 in Finance and minored in Accounting, and spent 6 months in Vienna attending the Wirtschaft Universitaet in Austria. He has traveled to 19 different countries and speaks English, German, Urdu, and studies Arabic.
 

Muzamil’s favorite things are traveling to foreign countries, meeting new people, eating arabic food, men’s fashion and public speaking. 

Farheen Siddiqi

Vice President

 

Farheen Siddiqi is an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Legal Fellow at Catholic Charities of Dallas. She currently provides legal representation to unaccompanied children in immigration proceedings.

 

She obtained her J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law) and her B.A. in Political Science from University of Texas at Dallas.

Tania Ahmad

Secretary

 

Tania Ahmad is a graduate student at Texas Women's University obtaining her Master's degree in Nursing with a concentration of Family Nurse Practitioner. She has a background in Labor and Delivery and Family Practice. She obtained a BS in Nutrition from Texas A&M University and a BS in Nursing with honors from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. 

 

Tania has an extensive background in organizations and leadership with many years of experience with the Texas A&M Muslim Student's Association, Islamic Center of Bryan College Station Mosque and the state-level MSA Lone Star Council Board. 

 

Tania is also a photographer, runs her own photography business and has a passion for travel. 

Fatema Ebrahim

Treasurer

Fatema Ebrahim is the Tom Ford Business Manager at Neiman Marcus downtown Dallas. She helped launch Tom Ford at the downtown Dallas location and her role primarily focuses on sales, managing accounts, and networking. Fatema has over six years of experience in sales and marketing. 

 

Furthermore, Fatema obtained her B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from Southern Methodist University and is currently pursuing an MBA at SMU. She studied abroad in Spain and was given the opportunity to teach English to Spanish-speaking children through Escuela de Jose Ortega y Gasset in Madrid. She also enjoys writing, and served as an intern for the Mayor of Dallas where she composed speeches for the Mayor and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem.

Lila Razzaqui
Communications Director

Lila is a San Francisco transplant who is eager to call Dallas home. She currently provides public relations to her clients at Kulesa Faul, a leading mid-sized Silicon Valley agency that provides expert public relations, social media and content marketing services to enterprise technology companies.


Lila's past experience includes communications work at organizations including the United Nation's International Labor Organization and National Public Radio affiliate KQED San Francisco. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in government from Smith College, and studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland.

Afnan is a seasoned consultant who has experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, Healthcare and most recently Aviation. He has led enterprise-wide efforts at Vanderbilt Medical Center which included an initiative to create standardize clinic operating models. He was also part of a team that facilitated a drastic expense reduction which drew national media attention. 

 

Afnan is based in Dallas, Texas currently helping IT executives align their strategy with their business partners. Afnan is an engineer from Texas A&M University. 

 

Mehreen Khan

Community Service Committee Chair

 

Mehreen Khan is the Program Director for Muslim Community Center for Human Services, located in Richland Hills Texas. She graduated from Foundation University Medical College, Pakistan and is currently finishing her Masters in Healthcare Administration from University of Maryland. Mehreen is the recipient of President’s Volunteer Service Award and avidly promotes volunteerism and community service.

 

She is a member of American Muslim Women Physicians Association, Quill and Scroll Chapter and Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society of Healthcare Administrators.

Taiyyib Choudhry

Leadership & Development Committee Chair

Taiyyib Choudhry is an Aggie alumnus with a double major engineering degree in electrical and telecommunications concentration and minor in information technology. Currently, spearheading a team of specialists and trainers as a solutions architect for Zebra Technologies, he has been the engineer of record on many high profile projects for the company’s advance services business unit. Furthermore, he is the co-founder of Wavetronic Systems Inc. that specializes in micro embedded solutions for various government and enterprise verticals.  While have presided he is also the co-founder and ex-officio of Pakistani Students Association and IEEE Com-Soc chapters at Texas A&M University.

 

Taiyyib has been a resident of DFW metroplex since 2012 and has been an active member of Frisco community. Labeled as an outdoorist, he’s an avid cyclist who enjoys long distance bike rides like Tour De Cure and BP’s MS150, plays soccer in division B leagues, has a passion for photography, loves to travel, capture and experience different cultures, food and ethnicities.

Maisam Ileiwi

Maisam Ileiwi is a Masters in Health Care Administration student with a background in research ethics and pharmaceuticals. She attained her bachelors in Biology with a minor in Communications from the University of Texas at Arlington. With a passion for quality healthcare and philanthropy, she previously worked with UNICEF and Mission Arlington.

 

 

Fariha Mohammad

Leadership & Development Committee Co-Chair

Fariha Mohammad was born and raised in Dallas,Texas, and is a true Texan at heart! She obtained her B.S. in Business Administration at University of Texas at Dallas, as well as her MBA from Baylor University.

 

Fariha's past experiences have been as a Operations Manager at ANF Corporation, and Information Security Project Coordinator at PepsiCo. She has a passion for education and non-profit work, and In Shaa Allah hopes to operate an orphanage one day to help the less privilege get the education and life they deserve.
