The American Muslim Professionals of Dallas was founded in Ramadan of 2012 

by Owais Siddiqui, Sabeeh Khan and Aisha U-Kiu. 

 

AMPD's model brings together professional development & community service 

by way of its projects and programming. 

 

AMPD professional development events create opportunities for members to network and make meaningful connections, provide resources for members to excel in their careers or job search, 

and encourage industry-specific mentorship 

among our membership and Advisory Board. 

 

AMPD also aims to build awareness of opportunities

for service-oriented Muslim professionals to give back

to our local community by collaborating on service projects,

which reflect a universal (interdenominational and interfaith) 

commitment to social service.

 

Most importantly, AMPD emphasizes diversity

of age, gender, religious affiliation and profession 

in all levels of leadership and membership!
