AMPD Executive Team 2020-21
Hussien Khafaji was born and raised in DFW and has been an active member with AMPD and its activities for several years. He holds a BBA in Business Management and an MBA in Strategic MGMT and a Certificate in Supervisory and Leadership MGMT from the University of North Texas. He was a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity while in college and was captain of my intramural soccer team throughout my college years.
Hussien currently owns and manages a Rental Properties Business, which consists of Residential and Commercial properties throughout the metroplex and also owns and operates North Texas Autos. He was awarded accolades for community service and events from the (GDACC) Greater Dallas Asian Chamber of Commerce-2018, (AACS) Arab American Cultural Society- 2017, and also (SOCH) South Asian Community-2018. He looks forward to the opportunity to serve AMPD and our community and bringing forth my knowledge and experience serving others to grow and attract awareness for our organization.
Sana is excited to serve as the 2020-2021 AMPD Vice President. She is currently the Accounting Manager at CERiS Healthcare, a leader in providing clinical expertise and proprietary solutions for healthcare claims review.
Sana attained her Bachelors in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of North Texas. She is dedicated, positive and team player. Sana finds interest in community service projects, community collaboration efforts, event-planning and networking. Her favorite activities are spending time with family and friends, travelling and experiencing new activities.
Hina is Physician Assistant practicing Obesity Medicine, Outpatient Orthopedic/ Occupational Medicine and Telemedicine. She graduated from the Baylor College of Medicine with a Masters Of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2009. Her previous education includes a Bachelors in Public Health with a Minor in Mathematics and Science along with a teaching certification.
She has experience working in various medical specialties but also serves as an adjunct faculty to teach PA students about Telemedicine. Hina’s passion lies in Orphan Sponsorship where she works with Islamic Relief USA to help provide individualized care for orphaned children by providing basic necessities such as food, shelter, healthcare, education and psycho-social support.
Faisal Malik was born and raised in Pakistan. After graduating from the University of Punjab Lahore, Pakistan I migrated to US in 1992. I attended State University of New York and earned my Bachelors degree in Finance and later earned my MBA from Dowling College (merged with Long Island University) in New York. My professional experience is very diverse from startups to Fortune 100. I worked as a business development manger, financial analyst, operations manager, leadership and development coach and as RMLO in banking sector. I had an opportunity to work in IT consulting, Retail, Banking, Wealth Management & Healthcare Industry. My professional career took me to 7 countries and over two dozen US States. In 2017 I relocated to West Plano, TX with my wife and two teen agers and call TX home. Being an MBA you always have that entrepreneur bug in you so in 2018 I formed a Corporation “EPIC Home Healthcare.” EPIC HHC will provide in home healthcare non medical services to senior and elderly patients, physically and mentally challenged individuals regardless of age, sex, religion or gender. I am an active member of TCF, Human Development Foundation, Shaukat Khanum Trust and many non-Profit organizations.
Maira Raza is a senior consultant at Riveron, a business advisory firm, specializing in accounting, finance and operations. Maira attended the University of Texas at Arlington and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Accounting.
Maira is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.
She is currently a Young Partners Board Member at the Family Place. She also loves volunteering, watching reality tv and traveling.
Programming Committee Chair
Areeba is a Talent acquisition coordinator at Northrop Grumman, one of the big aerospace defense companies in USA. She has a BBA in Management from University of Texas at Arlington. An eccentric personality with out of the box hobbies, and a health & fitness fanatic.
Community Service Commitee Chair
Rabia Inayat graduated from the University of North Texas in 2016 with a Bachelors in Science in BCIS (Business Computer Information Systems). She is currently working at the City of McKinney’s IT Department as a Applications Specialist, she helps support applications for all the city’s employees including McKinney’s Police and Fire Department.
She previously interned as an IT Business Systems Intern at General Motors Financial (GMF), and before that was a Peer Mentor and Orientation Leader for the International Center at UNT. She is also working hard to launch her event company SunLily Events. She is the President of MonbebeConnect, which is a Dallas based fan group for the KPOP group Monsta X, and is working with her team on a handful of upcoming projects and fan events. Rabia is very passionate about philanthropy & encouraging others to help those in need. She has a good amount of experience in volunteering and community service and enjoys it very much. She has done service for: IRUSA (Islamic Relief), Our Daily Bread, Tarrant Area Food Bank, Masjid Al Islam, Dallas KFest, etc.
